Roselyn Coaches have launched an exciting program of day trips for 2024, many of these have been given a fresh look for this year as well as some that remain ever present in their calendar.
Another exiting addition to the year’s program will be the fact that some of the local trips in Cornwall and Devon will be accompanied by renowned local tour guide Lucy Daniel.
Managing Director for Rosleyn Coaches Jonathan Ede said “we are delighted with the offering for this year and we are looking forward to having Lucy on board to give our local day tours some extra value and we hope that our customers get a really great experience with us”.
On offer this year Roselyn have some TV themed day tours including the Doc Martin tour which take is the beautiful fishing village of Port Issac where the TV show was filmed, plus other locations used for filming including Tintagel.
Beyond Paradise is also covered in the program as tour guide Lucy will accompany the group through the spectacular Tamar Valley which was where the show was based and take in Calstock, Launceston and Pentillie Castel and Estate.
Also on the program for this year is a three-day visit to the National Railway Museum in York. Day two of the trip will consist of a full day spent on site at the museum which is home to the world-renowned Flying Scotsman. On the return journey home, the coach will also call into Cribbs Causeway for those who wish to undertake a little retail therapy.
Calling all Harry Potter fans, Step on to authentic sets, discover the magic behind spellbinding special effects and explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. Discover the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall and explore the Forbidden Forest, board the original Hogwarts Express at Platform 9 ¾ and step foot into Gringotts Wizarding Bank, all before wandering down Diagon Alley. We have a day trip planed late August and this is a must-see UK attraction.
